SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Mechanical technician you will be responsible for executing maintenance works of all assets related to the Operations as delegated by the line manager, in line with Group Maintenance Guidelines, Procedures, and HSEQ Management System.

This position is based in Freha Factory, Algeria, and reports to the Engineer and Maintenance Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Superiors' instructions to ensure production machinery's availability based on the production demands.
• Responsible for following Work Permit System while executing the maintenance activities.
• Assist superiors in the timely completion of assigned tasks, and execute the Preventive, Predictive Maintenance of Operations equipment and Fire Protection (Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting) systems in close coordination with relevant user departments.
• Ensure timely response to all the maintenance works and breakdowns (mechanical & Instrumentation) to ensure less downtime of Production machinery and Fire systems.
• Assist supervisors in implementing maintenance procedures and preparing the site for Audits.
• Adhere to HSEQ Management System and all other company rules and regulations to safely execute quality-oriented Maintenance tasks.
• Update the requirement of Spare parts to the supervisors to ensure the stock.

• Required 4-8 years of relevant work experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
