Missions :

As the Windows technologies server administrator, lead in ensuring secure, reliable, highly available and scalable infrastructure environment for allocated applications. Some core responsibilities include:

• To provide Level 2 Network support; answering support queries via phone, email and service desk;
• Proactively monitor the ABCA global communications infrastructure and ensure minimal interruption;
• Monitor and administer the banks Local Area Network (LAN);
• Administer and assist in secure banks Wireless Network as per Information Security guidelines;
• Administer banks Firewall, including upgrades, reviewing rules and deploying patches in coordination with Head of Network & Telecom department;
• Assist in implementing, configuring and upgrading banks global network routers, local switches and general network infrastructure in coordination with Head of Network & Telecom department;
• Actively participate in the banks global Disaster Recovery test;
• Ensure approved security standards are followed;
• Assist in preparing technical and user documentation for new network technologies once deployed;
• Maintain high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles;
• Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues;
• Log all calls in the service desk system and update service tickets promptly;
• Respond to queries from users and troubleshoot network issues once reported;
• Arrange and coordinate external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house.

Profil :

• Minimum 3-year diploma or university degree in Computer Science;
• CCENT or CCNA certification preferred;
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar Network support role;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required;
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language;
• Highly self-motivated and directed;
• Highly positive attitude;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Ability to effectively communicate directly with stakeholders;
• Some experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
• Team player, ability to travel, ability to adhere to bank policies and procedures, ability to follow the line manager instructions.
