This role is based in our affiliate in Algiers and reports directly to the People & Organisation Director Novo Nordisk Algeria.
The Position
As our HR Admin Officer, you will be responsible to maintain personnel records, updates databases, gather payroll data, respond to employee inquiries about HR systems/tools and benefits and prepare HR-related reports. Overall, the role is to ensure smooth HR operations and provide support to the HR department.
Your Main Accountabilities will include:
- Manage employee records, including new hire onboarding, terminations, and updating employee information in the HRIS system.
- Conduct and follow the payroll process (pre and post payroll) including social statements and duties related to social activities e.g., new employee affiliation, reimbursement of medical expenses, work accident, etc.
- Distribute, collect, and track all contracts or offers of employment and additional new hire paperwork.
- Coordinate absence management, including sick, annual, and maternity leave, to ensure compliance and alignment with NN standards.
- Maintain files and personnel records to ensure information is accurate and up to date, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to have University degree in Human Resources or related field.
You also need to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Administration within a manufacturing company, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with HRIS systems and data management
- Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency on Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, service-minded, and reliable.
- High degree of confidentiality.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
