Performing operational task to support business & IT requirement on the Cloud & VDI platforms

Responsibilities

Design of solutions according to the business needs expressed by the clients of the platform.

Support all the infra requests related to business projects & need.

Virtual platform daily operational tasks and Health Check

Virtual desktop ( VDI) platform daily tasks and Health Checks

Virtual desktop ( VDI) platform Design, capacity planning and sizing

Interface with IT support team for the virtual infrastructure requests

Dev & Test cloning from prod

Participate to the Business User Meetings to understand their expectations.

Procedure & Tasks Documentation

Coach & up skill the Team

Implementation reports and KPI infra usage and availability

Troubleshooting systems bugs

Perform the health checks and reviews to optimize the existing infrastructure

Interface with third parties technical support.

Participate to the Business User Meetings to understand their expectations.

Qualifications

A strong understanding of core cloud (converged/hyper converged systems) technologies and tools

Deep understanding and experience in design/deployment of virtualization hypervisor technologies such as Vmware Vsphere

Deep understanding and experience in Horizon View Desktop pools, application pools.

Deep technical background in the containerization & kubernetes

Experience supporting software engineering applications such as GitHub Enterprise, Docker, Jenkins, Rancher, JIRA, and Confluence

Knowledge in Shell/powerShell scripting.

Knowledge in Database administration (Oracle RAC, MSSQL, MySQL, LDAP)

Knowledge in system administration (Linux, Windows)

Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

BAC + 5 in computer science

Preferred any of the following certifications: (Red Hat Open Shift, VMware).

Three to five years of experience in same or similar position
