The Case Management Officer (CMO) at our law firm plays a pivotal role in managing missions entrusted by the Client under the organizational and administrative perspective. The CMO, not having a legal background, will not enter into the technicity of a mission, but they will ensure that the legal team follows the internal policies and procedures, thus indirectly contributing to the firms standards of excellence and client satisfaction. The CMOs responsibilities will include a proper assessment and supervision on the hours spent on each mission by the legal team and the compliance with the agreed deadlines. In addition, the CMO will have the duty to promptly raise alerts in case there is a discrepancy between the actual performance of a mission and the agreement signed with the Client. Finally, the CMO will ensure that each mission when finalized is closed in compliance with the Firm policies and all the pertinent documents properly stored and organized.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing Projects:

  • Each mission entrusted by a client is managed as a Project at Fares Legal. The CMO must ensure that the performance and development of the project is seamless and strictly adherent to the mission agreed on.

2. Ensuring the compliance in the performance of the missions of legal teams:

  • Diligently oversee the progress of client missions, ensuring strict adherence to the entrusted instructions.
  • Monitor deadlines and manage working time, ensuring they align with client expectations.
  • Alert relevant stakeholders to any deviations from the mission plan in a timely manner.

3. Time Management:

  • Through the use of a specific software licensed to the Firm, generating accurate monthly timesheets comprising the working hours performed on each mission.
  • Review timesheets for consistency and accuracy, ensuring they are free from errors or discrepancies.
  • Assist in the invoice approval process and follow-up until the client release the payments.

Qualifications :

University degree/Master in Finance, Economy, MBA, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or financial role in a private company (international company is a plus).

Proficient in English.

Strong communication and management skills.

Proficient in software applications, particularly MS Office.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate, reporting directly to the Chief of Operations, will possess a strong combination of management, organizational skills and keen eyes on details, enabling them to navigate the complexities of case management while supporting the firms business and quality objectives.
