Job Description

Prover is seeking a DevOps Build Engineer in Algiers to join our tools development team.

As a DevOps Build Engineer, you will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining the infrastructure for our software development and deployment processes.

This position will offer an opportunity to work on new and ongoing projects with a diverse international team and in good work conditions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes into the build and release processes

Configure and manage the infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments

Maintain the license checker tool (Linux, Windows, CLI, GUI)

Manage and maintain build jobs (Jenkins, certificate signing, ...)

Monitor and troubleshoot issues with build and deployment processes

Automate repetitive tasks such as the release and delivery processes as well as internal tools distribution

Implement security measures to protect our software and infrastructure

Maintain the license key database and the Prover Cloud Apps

Continuously improve our build and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reliability

Requirements

Academic degree in computer science, software engineering or similar

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build Engineer, or similar role

High reliability and trustworthiness

Fluent in English

Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

Experience with tools for creating reproducible builds (such as nix)

Knowledge of Unix-style operating systems such as Linux

Knowledge about mixed platform build environments (cygwin/wsl)

Proficiency in Bash and Python

Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good communication and collaboration skills
