eTalent is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients for a:

Head of Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
   • Develop and manage the companys financial planning and analysis processes.
   • Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
   • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
2. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
   • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
   • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for external stakeholders.
3. Budget Management:
   • Monitor and manage the companys budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
   • Conduct regular budget reviews and variance analyses.
   • Implement cost control measures and financial policies to optimize spending.
4. Cash Flow Management:
   • Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
   • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
   • Develop strategies to improve cash flow and working capital.
5. Financial Strategy and Advisory:
   • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies.
   • Provide financial insights and guidance on business decisions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
   • Support other business development activities.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
   • Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
   • Oversee internal controls and audit processes.
7. Team Management:
   • Lead and mentor the finance team, including financial analysts and accountants.
   • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
   • Manage performance and development of team members.

Qualifications :

Around 15 to 20 years of experience in similar roles, currently handling managerial level responsibilities.

Preferred experience in establishing accounting systems and practices in new projects.

Candidates with experience in the automotive sector and from the region will have an advantage.

Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral
