Job Description

Prover is seeking a Software QA Engineer in Algiers to join our tools development team.

As a Software QA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

This position will offer an opportunity to work on new and ongoing projects with a diverse international team and in good work conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and report defects.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and isolate issues, and collaborate to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Create and maintain testing environments and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
• Ensure that testing activities are well-documented and that test results are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the testing process by incorporating new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Academic degree in computer science, software engineering or similar
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• High reliability and trustworthiness
• Fluent in English
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
• Experience with test case management tools
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, etc.) and testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, etc.)
• Knowledge of Unix-style operating systems such as Linux
• Knowledge about mixed platform build environments (cygwin/wsl)
• Proficiency in Bash and Python
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
• Critical mind and attention to detail
• Team spirit and willingness to compromise
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• An eager will to always improve on processes and automation

المسؤوليات

تطوير وتنفيذ خطط الاختبار وحالات الاختبار لمنتجات البرامج.

إجراء اختبار يدوي وآلي لتحديد العيوب والإبلاغ عنها.

العمل عن كثب مع فريق التطوير لإعادة إنتاج المشكلات وعزلها والتعاون لضمان حل العيوب في الوقت المناسب.

إنشاء وصيانة بيئات الاختبار واختبار البيانات للاختبار الوظيفي والانحدار والأداء.

تعاون مع فرق متعددة الوظائف لتحديد احتياجات الاختبار وترتيبها حسب الأولوية.

تأكد من أن أنشطة الاختبار موثقة جيدًا وأن نتائج الاختبار يتم إبلاغ أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين بها بوضوح.

تحسين عملية الاختبار باستمرار من خلال دمج الأدوات والتقنيات والمنهجيات الجديدة.

متطلبات

شهادة أكاديمية في علوم الكمبيوتر أو هندسة البرمجيات أو ما شابه ذلك

3 + سنوات من الخبرة في ضمان جودة البرمجيات

موثوقية عالية وجدارة بالثقة

طلاقة في اللغة الإنجليزية

فهم قوي لمنهجيات وأدوات اختبار البرمجيات

خبرة في تقنيات الاختبار اليدوية والآلية

خبرة في أدوات إدارة حالة الاختبار

خبرة في منهجيات تطوير البرمجيات (مثل Agile)

معرفة لغات البرمجة (مثل Java و Python وغيرها) وأطر الاختبار (مثل Selenium و Appium وما إلى ذلك)

معرفة بأنظمة التشغيل على غرار Unix مثل Linux

المعرفة حول بيئات بناء النظام الأساسي المختلط (cygwin / wsl)

إجادة لغة باش وبايثون

القدرة على العمل في بيئة متنوعة ومتعددة الثقافات

العقل الناقد والاهتمام بالتفاصيل

روح الفريق والاستعداد لتقديم تنازلات
