Design Planchecker Full Job Description:

UTC solar is currently seeking a talented electrical engineer to join our team as an Designe Planchecker in Birkhadem, Algiers.

The main responsibility of a Planchecker is to ensure each plan set for each project meets all electrical, city, solar, and utility company requirements.

Responsibilities for Planchecker include, but are not limited to:

Must be able to read plans and create recommendations making it easier for field Electricians.

Make certain module layout will actually fit on roof and abide by building codes.

Occasional communication with sales reps and homeowners to confirm specific requirements, wants, preferences, etc.

Make sure the solar equipment is interconnected correctly abiding by specific equipment requirements and connection formulas.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position of Planchecker:

Must be able to handle several tasks at a time as well as the ability to communicate effectively with employees.

Must be a strong team player and work within a team as well as independently.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat and (Autocad Optional).

Effective listening, verbal, and written communications skills in English.

Good problem-solving skills

Effective time / project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to professionally respond to stressful situations in a patient, friendly, and timely manner.
