IFM Operations Supervisor - ALGIERS
The Integrated Facilities Management Operations supervisor will manage and direct activities for the delivery of workplace services, operations and asset planning, maintenance and repair for an expanded portfolio with accountability for the overall delivery of portfolio management, including engineering services, site services, energy management and EHS.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Has complete responsibility of day-to-day operations and budget accountability of facilities, ensuring all services are effectively delivered and facility needs are met including; janitorial, general maintenance, engineering and soft services.
- Creatively solve problems
- Develop and support the company management with the annual business plans, budgets and forecasts, operations plan, stating priorities, timelines and responsibilities
- Collaborate with counterparts in other workstreams in order to learn and utilize best operational practices
- Collaborate in the development of strategic planning with the leadership team and develop objectives, policies and programs
- Responsible for the cost-effective management of service contracts. Responsible for all aspects of service delivery pursuant to these contracts, responsible for periodic and ongoing performance and financial review, conducting RFPs, and assuring payments and invoicing match contract pricing
- Ensures the facility management staff consistently provides positive and prompt response to requests from the client . Ensures facility management staff implements ongoing contract review programs to constantly assess client and occupant needs and to assure problems are being solved promptly
- Prepares and delivers consolidated reporting and reviews all budgets, financial reports), contracts expenditures and purchase orders related to the facility(s) or complex.
- Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis and reporting by the facility management team of statistical data and analysis
- Responsible for the hiring, training of the facility staff
- Partner with Procurement to ensure that all facility vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate all claims as required
- Manage the development of strategic and operational initiatives that drive value to the client and the IFM operational team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- University degree ; Experience in facility management is a plus .
- Engineering, Business or technical training or certifications a plus.
- Work experience in a commercial property and hospitality setting or any similar combination of education or experience.
- Must have strong management and leadership skills and experience with H.R and performance management processes.
- Financial knowledge necessary.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer and systems knowledge.
