Cyber Security Administrator

Main tasks:

- Develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization, and recommend security enhancements.
- Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect organizations sensitive information against Malware and Zero Day Attacks
- Secure Network configuration - Firewall, Router Management, DMZ etc.
- Conducts periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability. also conduct penetration testing, in which they simulate an attack on the system to highlight or find any weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party
- Constantly monitor the organizations networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
- Developing, maintain and support the security solution and product as services for the B2B and B2C in line with the Veon group Business strategy.
- SOX controls owner for the information security controls design and operational effectiveness
- If a breach has occurred, leads incident response activities to minimize the impact and lead a technical and forensic investigation.
- Analyze systems, data, and operating environments to determine appropriate security controls
- Review system architecture and system design documentation to identify security-relevant aspects
- Work closely with project team members to make sure that applicable security requirements are incorporated in systems and solutions deployed for the project.
- Participate in business, technical, and security reviews of the solution to explain selected security and privacy controls
- Perform initial and ongoing risk assessments of the system ( Network, IT, 3Rd part)
- Support all aspects of Information Security Operations initiatives
- Monitor and analyze Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Anomaly Detection Systems (ADS), and Security Information Events Management ArcSight (SIEM) to identify security issues for remediation.

Terms of Access:

- Degree in Computer Science (Bac+5)

- 5-8 years of experience in information security

Competences:

Technical Skills :

- Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
- Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
- Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
- Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
- Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
- Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention
- ISO 27001/27002, ITIL and SOX compliance assessments
- Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
- TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching
- Network security architecture development and definition
- Knowledge of third party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Firewalls, Sandboxing, and other security tools.
- SIEM technologies and correlation.
- Network security certifications a plus ( CEH, CISM .CISA)

- Ability to communicate at all levels including Senior Management
- Dynamic individual able to cope with and adapt to constantly changing environment

- Demonstrates ability to handle conflicting situation & should have strong verbal, written communication & analytical skills
